Bee Net Zero


Bee Net Zero takes a collaborative approach to helping businesses on their journey to becoming net zero. Bringing together networks, organisations and support programmes from across Greater Manchester, Bee Net Zero makes this transition straightforward and cost-efficient for businesses.

The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) comprises the ten GM councils and the GM Mayor working together to improve the city-region by addressing issues that affect everyone in the region, like transport, regeneration, and attracting investment.

Greater Manchester Business Board (LEP) brings together private and public sectors to support business growth, develop local skills and innovation, direct investment and reform public services. The LEP works in partnership with GMCA and works through a range of delivery bodies.

Helping to make Greater Manchester a world-leading Green City Region is a priority. GM Green City work with the region’s leading businesses, community and voluntary, third sector and charity organistions, green influencers, schools and individuals to make a real change.

The largest accredited Chamber in the UK with over 4500 member businesses of all sizes and from all sectors right across Greater Manchester. GMCC offers a range of support services, events, trade expertise and networking opportunities backed up by a policy and research team - capturing the views of members and working on campaigns to help business and the local economy grow.

Green Economy brings together the installers, tradespeople and professionals needed to deliver net zero into one single network. We support suppliers to develop and grow their business by raising their profile and access to sales opportunities, while our unrivalled knowledge of the supply chain means we can help buyers of all sizes find their perfect project partner.

The Manchester Climate Change Agency and Partnership are responsible for overseeing and championing climate change action in the city. Manchester Climate Change Agency have committed to urgent action to reduce CO2 by at least 50% during 2020-2025 down to zero before 2038.

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is the local government body responsible for delivering GMs transport strategy and commitments. Through GMs Low Emission Strategy and Air Quality Action Plan they aim to make our city-region a cleaner, greener and healthier place to live and work.

The Energy Innovation Agency bridges the “innovation gap” by working collaboratively with academics and business to accelerate the introduction of energy related innovation. They aim to shorten the journey from discovery to deployment and facilitate rapid scaling of new innovations.

The SME Climate Hub is a pioneering global initiative that aims to create a tipping point for mainstreaming climate action and building business resilience. The SME Climate Hub is an initiative of the International Chamber of Commerce, the Exponential Roadmap Initiative, the We Mean Business coalition and the United Nations Race to Zero campaign.

Recognising that climate change poses a threat to the economy, nature and society-at-large, our company commits to take action immediately in order to:

1. Halve our greenhouse gas emissions before 2030
2. Achieve net zero emissions before 2050
3. Disclose our progress on a yearly basis

In doing so, we are proud to be recognised by the United Nations Race to Zero campaign, and join governments, businesses, cities, regions, and universities around the world that share the same mission.
